Terms & Conditions

Please read the entire agreement. By ordering from AgriDrone, you agree to these terms. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us. Thank you!

Warranty and Returns

All products have a 90-day warranty. Orders cannot be cancelled once they have shipped. Goods cannot be returned for any reason including a customer no longer needing or wanting a product or lack of product knowledge unless the item is defective or faulty, in which case the following applies. All goods are checked before they are sent out. In the unlikely event that goods are faulty, they must be returned to the AgriDrone store at the address listed on your order invoice within 90 days of receipt, providing that the device has not been altered beyond that necessary to evaluate it and it has no physical damage. Manufacturing defects identified during that period will be repaired by AgriDrone or replaced by with the same item. The AgriDrone store will not accept goods that have been clearly used more than the amount needed to evaluate their functionality. If the goods are found to be in working condition and the lack of functionality is a result of knowledge or assembly error on the customer’s part, no refund will be made, but the goods will be returned to the user at their expense. If there is evidence that the product has been modified or an effort to “fix” it has been made, the AgriDrone store will not be responsible and therefore will not provide an exchange. For other products distributed but not manufactured directly by the AgriDrone store (e.g. cameras, r/c transmitters, etc.), we will replace the defective part within 21 days of delivery confirmation. The item must be as it was shipped, with no modifications, original packaging and contents. Order cancellations/refunds apply with the following conditions:

  1. When we can no longer provide one or more items of the actual order (i.e. discontinued parts).
  2. When on or more items of the actual order are not expected to be shipped within 45 days or more.
  3. When one or more items of the actual order is marked as In Stock but was actually Out of Stock due to an inventory error.

Return shipment is the responsibility of the customer. All returns are credited as store credit upon receipt. RMAs are required for returns. Once the RMA has been issued, the customer has to return the item within 20 days of the issue date. If the item is not shipped within that time frame, the RMA will be nullified. Any order discrepancies must be communicated within 30 days of order receipt. This applies to any missing parts in kits, orders in packages, etc. After the 30 day window, we cannot be held responsible for any missing items.

Should the aerial vehicle be involved in an accident, before we can evaluate whether the repairs fall under the warranty we require access to the dataflash log located on the micro SD card in the PixHawk flight controller. The information in this log is critical to determine the cause of the accident and customers are required to extract this log and forward it to us by email attachment. Only after we can ascertain that the accident was as a result of faulty equipment, and not the cuscomer’s negligence, will we consider a repair or replacement under warranty. A this point a normal RMA process will apply. Should the accident be determined to be the result of the customer’s error or negligence, we will not be liable for damage repair or replacement of the aerial vehicle. In particular, the aerial vehicle must not be operated outside of the following operating limits:

  1. Maximum airspeed: 15m.s
  2. Maximum bank or pitch angle: 45 degrees
  3. Ambient temperature range: 10 degrees Celsius to 35 degrees Celsius
  4. Maximum average windspeed: 7m.s
  5. Maximum wind gust speed: 10m.s
  6. Any conditions of overdevelopment (thunderstorm activity) in the flying range of the aerial vehicle or in the immediate vicinity
  7. Any use of the aerial vehicle for aerobatics or for purposes other than it’s design purpose, ie aerial photography

In addition, we will not be liable for damage repair or replacement of the aerial vehicle if any of the flight controller’s factory parameters (ie the parameters set at the time the vehicle was shipped to the customer) have been changed, with the notable exception of the parameters that are indicated in the AgriDrone User Manual as modifiable, viz:

  1. Gimbal setting parameters
  2. GeoFence parameters
  3. Battery failsafe parameters
  4. Waypoint navigation parameters

The same disclaimer applies to the upgrade of the flight controller’s firmware. Any such upgrade by the client is at the client’s risk. Should the client require an upgrade to the flight controller’s firmware under warranty this can be done only by AgriDrone or one of it’s agents.

We will further not be liable for damage repair or replacement of the aerial vehicle if the standard payload (gimbal and cameras) have been substantially modified or replaced with different equipment. The aerial vehicle is not designed to accept a payload in excesss of 300g and may malfunction if a heavier payload is attached.
